I’ve been running the Bando XL by Eberlestock @eberlestock for over a year and a half now, and here’s why I swear by it: the weight of the bag itself actually outweighs my firearm. That means when I unzip and draw, I don’t need two hands to keep the bag steady—it stays put while I draw one handed.

I’m sick of it, it’s not FAIR for the many women who want to actually get into women’s concealed carry for their safety and not to look cool on IG! They have to deal with filtering through this garbage or risk actually trying to carry this way all day to be unfortunately surprised how dangerous & unrealistic it is.

1. That gun is not going to stay in the small pocket twice the fire arms size after she takes more than 5 steps. You can see in the photo that the gun is already leaning away from her holster.
2. walking with a gun between your legs, no sorry that’s going to suck. How do I know because I tried it with a glock 43 (very small gun) and immediately laughed and returned it. Even trying the garter method on the outside of my leg the thing falls down.
3. All this video shows is her risking dropping a gun from your crotch area while walking.

Some of my notes are….
1. Cars aren’t cover
2. More likely to use a car as a weapon than to get in a gunfight for self defense in one because they’re a death box.
3. Always learn and practice around the environments you find yourself in everyday. I’m glad to have gained experience of what it would actually be like to have to shoot from a vehicle!
4. Ammo type matters

Here are some notes from Independence…
“These are simple lessons that are best learned through real world application. Checking deviation through windshields in class this past weekend (Vehicle Defense and Ballistics), lots of different calibers and ammunition types were used, and
as usual, the Federal 9mm HST performed the best(@federalpremium). Both 124gr and 147gr did the best work out of everything else. Some of the options out there, even the more popular ones, are shockingly horrible when fired through windshield glass, some to the point that they completely missed targets at the end of the hood. Side glass does little, if anything, to deviate the POl. However, the way the glass typically shatters partially disrupts visibility, at the very least. Proper technique is needed to effectively orient your body to the target and
to make sure glass doesn't blow back onto vital parts of your body, as well as maintain weapon retention and repel boarders.”
